The Policy Analyst position plays a key role in supporting the development of regulatory initiatives of the BCER. The Policy Analyst researches policy issues impacting BCER programs and services and provides background information, data analyses, policy evaluations and recommendations in order to strengthen the current regulations and aid in the adoption of future changes. This includes the analyses and design of current policies and regulations and identifying opportunities, gaps, and risks in relation to the BCER’s regulated activities. Reporting to the Director, Regulatory Strategy, the Policy Analyst will help ensure that the BCER’s legislative and regulatory initiatives are effectively and efficiently implemented.

Salary: $69,405 to $79,032

An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.
An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.
